A Cheese Business Doubles a Client's Income

Before she received her loans from Grameen, Rosaria Valenzuela Dorame picked tomatoes and potatoes in the large agricultural fields. Now, with her cheese business, she has been able to double her income to $12 a day. She has three boys, one of whom is attending the university. She wants to use her profits so her sons can study.“Working in the fields, it was always a battle to make enough money,” she says. “Now it is not as much of a struggle.”
