Throughout the world, a tiny loan is enough to interrupt the cycle of poverty. Women’s Empowerment International, a San Diego-based nonprofit that provides microfinance loans to women in poverty, works in Mexico, Honduras, Ghana and San Diego, providing small repayable business loans and business training to women living in poverty. Globally, this proven economic model helps women develop their potential, strengthen their families and create a brighter future.
